Hinehou's Oil Spill

I wake up and see a big machine in the ocean and wonder why it is there. Is it to warn animals or is it to tell us how far to swim? I see it and run along in to the sand and stare it is a big machine but it’s an oil Rig. I get scared and remember what happened to Mexico on April 22 how they had an oil spill. What if it happens to the entire small islands around New Zealand or happens to New Zealand and all under water animals get scared and move away from all the noises and drillings under ground Maybe our Hector dolphins get more and more endangered from the oil rig. We need oil for cars, bubble wrappers, lunch boxes, glue, lipstick food wrappers and toilet seats *etc. The question I would like to know is there a better way to get oil instead of drilling holes in through the middle of the earth? I know why we need an oil rig but can’t they make everything out of something that won’t endanger animals?
