                   How to make ice cream

Making Ice Cream

What you need:

200g of salt

120ml of milk

5tsp (20g) of sugar

Vanilla essence

Three ziplock plastic bags (one large bag and two small bags)

1kg of crushed ice

A 2-litre ice cream container

What you do:

1.     Half fill the large plastic bag with crushed ice.

2.     Add the salt.

3.     Put the plastic bag with the ice and salt mixture into an ice cream container (in case of spills).

4.     Put the milk, vanilla and sugar into the small plastic bag. Seal the bag tightly.

5.     Put this small plastic bag inside the second small plastic bag. Seal this bag tightly too.

6.     Place the small bags inside the large bag that contains the ice and salt mixture. Seal the larger bag.

7.     Shake and move the bags about until the mixture inside the small bag turns to ice cream. This will take about 5-10 minutes.
