Poetry

A sustainable planet
The Earth was once green
With miles of woodland,
There was more life than you’ve seen,
But now the few reminders have been caned.
Factories were put up
And replaced all the trees.
An unwanted tree made a cheap cup
Now there’s less flowers, less honey from the bees.
Cancer could have been cured,
But so many plants have gone.
Our lives would’ve been better insured,
And with our new lives there are many new pros, but we still have a bigger con.
